WOAH! I don't completely understand it, but awesome. One question, if this is the "true" way to get the Ice Key, why is there Banjo and Kazooie dialogue when you get the Ice Key with the Sandcastle codes?
EDIT: I mean, if this is the way they originally meant for us to get it, why have the dialogue in the first place?

Sorry, but this isn't S'n'S, but an error caused by loading save states from other game.
See this, another error.

No cartridge tilt ever could unlock ONLY the Ice Key. Kola tilted and found the origional 6 eggs and Key, but not the key on its own. And the Ice Wall was gone.
I still haven't watched (No flash memory on a Wii) but I'll try tomorrow. |

That's not true. He was playing with a code on and it glitched.

Ah, I see. I only vaguely remembered the post made, so thats probably why I made the mistake.
![]() Anyway, BK tilts have been tried before too, so its kinda unlikely that the Ice Key would just appear randomly without us knnowing, or being told on some occasion. |

I don't think this is the real way. If it was, why does the video that Mumbo shows you have Banjo in the room where the Ice Key is?

Then say to me where did I say "Cartdridge Tilt". I only can see "Common error caused by loading a Save State in the wrong game".

Apparently some kind of "collection" mechanism was tripped between the savestate switches?
![]() Also, shouldn't we try the same thing with games other than DK64, to see if it something that is only true to BK/DK64, rather than BK/Goldeneye...?

Was Kola testing what was mentioned above on an N64, or a PJ64?

So the original plan to get the Ice Key involved switching between BK and DK64 in a way that can only be done in PJ64? And on top of that, the whole time in BK, you were in front of the ice door thing, and then you load up a game that, quite possibly and probably, was a different one, that already had the Ice Key on it. I'm not exactly convinced.

Will it only work during a lever? Weird.

That video is amazing if it's real, but unfortunately it is so easy to fake. You could have easily gotten the ice key using the sandcastle codes but just left that part out. Besides, what on earth would pulling a level have to do with anything?

@ dee: It would be possible., but he used the item trigger (The DK64 Lever pulling) combined with the BK area. Goldeneye doesn't have any swopping capabilities, so it would be unlikely to work.
Still, give it a try without the lever on GE. |
