I honestly liked your facts about these theories. My theory is to wait and see what Rare does. The only reason i think these crazy theories are here is because people just got t excited about SnS.They need to cool down and wait.

hmm
[QUOTE=hatrickpatrick;305446]There are some theories which, for one reason or another, seem to get reposted over and over despite being thoroughly disproven on many occasions. I've listed some of the most commonly reposted ones here:
The "Hot Swop" rumor Probably the most dangerously common misconception is that pausing the game, getting to the Stop 'N' Swop screen, and then switching the cartridge to BT without turning off the power, with or without resetting the game after doing so. This does NOT facilitate anything, it would indeed be almost physically impossible for such a feature to be designed. Moreover, this can destroy data on either game cartridge, damage the N64 itself, or electrocute the person who is hot swopping. The risks are almost too hideous to contemplate. Don't even think about it. I had a friend some 5 years ago (i think his name was Daniel) when i was young who said that he had played his entire banjo kazooie game with the same controller every time (a red one) and with the same game pak in the controller. He also said he played his entire Banjo Tooie game with a different controller with a different game pak. he said he would show me something cool. so i went to his house and after playing some Conker 2p, he showed me what he did. he used the non red controller but used the red controller's game pak. he then started banjo tooie and started a new game on the kazooie frame (i think) he then opened the menu and chose view collection (or whatever it is) and then there was an egg that he selected and there were the mystery eggs from the first game in a row. except they now had ! marks on them instead of ? marks. he selected the pink one and a message popped up with glitched up writing on it and the game crashed. he said he did it with all the eggs but nothing happened (except the game crahing) was he on to something? or was he just trying to bull**** me please excuse my language. |

It would be cool if they did turn into exclamation marks, however sadly that probably won't happen regarding the trailers.

A common theory is a new level for Freezeezy Peak at night.
One reason this is rubbish is the fact that Freezeezy Peak is already at night. Look at the sky.
