My theories. Probably no one will agree with me about any of them, but that's okay. I'm a brilliant visionary so it's hard for folks to understand how my complex brain works, but I'm confident history will prove me correct about most of these.

The Soul is not the player. The player isn't even a character within the game's narrative at all. The Soul is Dess. Dess is a human girl the Holidays adopted, as hinted by the shoes in her closet. The Christmas flashback where she seemed to have horns were fake Christmas reindeer horns like Kris's fake monster horns. I know that's a lot to take in. But I'm right. Dess is "The first hero. The cage, with human soul and parts

Jevil will reappear in Ch. 5 as part of the festival dark world (I'm coping ;_;)

Chess Theory is somewhat real. Specifically the chess board during the Jackenstein fight. It's very clearly alluding to the different chapters of the game. The flower piece that represents Chapter 5 is also supposed to be a rook/tower chess piece as viewed from directly above. Which probably just means Ch. 5 will feature some kind of tower or castle.....Maybe the Dragon Blazers ice palace? But I think it's just gonna be Asgore's castle. He's already been compared to Beauty and The Beast.

The Holidays aren't just monsters, they're Boss Monsters like the Dreemurr family.

I can't make heads or tails of the whole monsters bleeding thing in Deltarune. It's EITHER the case that monsters have always been able to bleed despite being made of magic, and we just assumed they couldn't in Undertale, OR monsters do not normally bleed and Susie is an exception because she's half human (which explains her ability to open dark fountains without being hurt by the excess Determination)

The Knight is either Asriel (or an object Asriel owned etc) or Rudy. I can't quite decide which. Rudy makes more sense overall and I think it's him. He has been opening dark fountains to save his daughter, but too much Determination makes monsters sick as we know from Undertale. Since he's gotten too weak to open fountains, he now relies on a Shadow Crystal (which are made of Determination) to open them. His crystal is probably a black knife in the light world. And Rudy is having Kris help them now since Determination won't harm Kris.

...But the Knight does seem to have a suspicious number of similarities to Asriel. If it IS Asriel then Clover actually foreshadowed it in Chapter 1. She says "RK came by..." which we thought meant Roulxs Kaard but IF she actually was talking about the Roaring Knight, then her dialogue gives hints who it is. She says RK is "a hunk", and when she's asked what kinds of boys she thinks are hot, she says she likes cute, fluffy boys with glasses. (And in regards to Ralsei, she gives a non-committal "HIM?....Erm....".) The only missing piece of the puzzle is that Asriel has never been depicted with glasses as far as I know, but he's in college, and I could very easily see him wearing them when he shows up..... I still think the Knight is Rudy but I've got my eye on you Asriel!
