With the puzzle, it's red, but it's also a single piece. I can't remember but after using all the jiggys in the game you were left with either 2 or 4 left over. I know people thought this was a handicap kind of thing, but maybe they were going to be used for something.

But then what would use only one piece and why is the background red? My suggestion would be to have the non- hackers look through the game for textures that match the one surrounding the piece, maybe that could give a clue where it was used.

My thought would be, with just one piece, it probably opened a gate or door or something small like that. Maybe red meant invalid, meaning you couldn't place the piece until something else was done first. Maybe there were two of these, one to raise sharkfood isle, one to open the desert door. I'm not sure, just speculating.

as for the white egg, if I remember right, missingno was in pokemon red/blue was created because the game was trying to pull data on pokemon 152 - 250 which were going to origionally be in the first game, but were pulled during development, leaving bits in pieces left over. When you encountered him, the game tried to pull one of those pokemon, it couldn’t, so it grabbed whatever data it could to create something so the game wouldn’t crash, thus it created missingno. Because this was so unstable it would sometimes ruin peoples carts.

So maybe there was something stop and swop related there, that gets trigger, but can’t be found in the memory, so the game pulls what it can, creating a white egg, with yellow background behind the question mark. I remember someone stating that the egg seemed multiple colors, not just white, so perhaps they are being blended when pulled, but then why wouldn’t yellow blend. Maybe if we can break down the egg and see if there are more then one layer that may suggest something.

ssj, that code was for the actual ice key propertys in BK, its for testing not maps or anything.

and i wrote an advanced hacking guide as a part 2 to skills.

http://www.spiralmountain.co.uk/site...11373&forum=25

it teaches hex editing.

It took us 4 YEARS to find the SNS items. This won't be done in a day.

i think what i'll have to do is find the part of the script that loads the map itself.

1460 had some kick ass results, i'll see what i can do.

EDIT: 1460 THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hacked the entire DK64 ROM, theres a script for 1460 only,

THERES NO SCRIPT FOR ANY OF THE OTHER VALUES ssj POSTED,

but 1460 has a whole script.

more info comming soon
