S&tBK will be the spiritual sequel to Secret Rings with the whole concept of Sonic exploring a popular fairytale book world. In Secret Rings it was Arabian Knights. This one must be the whole “King Arthur and the Round Table” bit. You know, the Holy Grail, Camelot, Excalibur, that stuff.
Maybe it’ll run kinda like how the King Arthur and Merlin stuff was played out in the Adventures of Sonic cartoon back in the 90s, with horse back riding, jousting and knight @#$ kicking. Oh and Tails should definately be Merlin, if he’s not the new ‘guide’ like character for Sonic instead. Then Amy can be Lady Guienevere [sp?] and Knuckles Sir Lancelot… yada yada. It'd be nice if the sonic fanbase was abit more +ve about anything these days but oh well, they'll always be whiny brats... I'm loving the look of this already. 08 is definately the year of Sonic

Maybe when he turns into super sonic (maybe King arthur sonic lol) the sword will turn into a lazer sword so it'd be more cool you know. ....wth

Heroes, Shadow, and Sonic 06 may be "the only bad games," but they coincidentally represent every major 3D Sonic game made after 2001. Not having a good game in almost an entire decade is ground for concern.

It'd be hilarious if the "black" knight was Shadow.
Or Batman. Anywho, I'm just glad this is only a Wii-exlcusive and not some horrible revelation of what Sonic Unleashed really is. When I first was shown this I first thought it was gonna be Sonic and the Secret Rings all over again. (Remember how awesome "Sonic Wildfire" looked?) Then again I think this might be that whole thing all over again anyway. Sonic Unleashed looks really awesome looking at videos, but I'm sure the controlls will turn out to be crap once it's released on all consoles. And this... this... "Sonic and the Black Knight"? I lack words...

It's moment's like these where I wish I had the dagger of time (or that car from Back to the Future) and go back to 2001 and stop Sega from no longer making consols, (if they still made consols, they would actuly care about their games... then again, they could go out of buisness. There must be some point in time where I could change all this and everything would go well for Sega!)

Special Stages, Team Play and Metal Sonic's return, sure they could've been abit better all round but it at least tried to put in some stuff for the old fans and try out some new stuff. Nothing in Shadow or 06 really had any potenial to become a 'norm' of the franchise e.g. guns completely conflicted with Shadow's character and were just put in there for the american masses and a human princess, hmm yea...

No, Heroes was pretty much just as bad. On a good day I'd even put '06 over Heroes
