They should be able to come up with better ideas than this junk.
Come on, SEGA. Use your brains for once. |

You know what they always forget to bring in any new sonic game?
CHAO'S those blue things in adventure 2. They were sooo fun...I dont see why they dont add it in any new sonic game..

Maybe this is why sonic fails now? No chao's? Hmm not sure but this is the first sonic game since adventure 1 I'm anticipating.

It's not the Chao's, it's the lack of good controls, gameplay, camera... and so on.

Why is Sonic reading books anyways? Dosen't he like to run? Yes, I now he could've been reading just to go on another S&tSR like adventure, but why was he even reading in S&tSR!? I laughed at Darkjinjo's pic, Sonic's even starting to get mad at Sega. *Waits to get flamed*

Just had a brainwave for a possible stage, but for those of you who don't know King Arthur mythos or have seen the Gargoyles cartoon heres some background:
Avalon is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend, famous for its beautiful apples. It first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth's 1136 pseudohistorical account Historia Regum Britanniae ("The History of the Kings of Britain") as the place where King Arthur is taken to recover from his wounds after his last battle at Camlann, and where his sword Caliburn (Excalibur) was forged. The concept of such an "Isle of the Blessed" has parallels in other Indo-European mythology, in particular the Irish TÃ*r na nÓg and the Greek Hesperides, the latter also noted for its apples. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avalon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Places_...rgoyles#Avalon Avalon in the Gargoyles universe is based on the island of Celtic Mythology. It is home to the third race of fairies and their king, Oberon as well as the Avalon Clan. In the Gargoyles universe, the island is on Earth, but exists on a different, parallel reality. For humans to access it, one must be on any body of water and chant a Latin magic verse to be transported there. The flora and fauna and physical landscape resemble that of the rest of the planet, but time passes differently there; an hour on Avalon is a day on Earth. The island also appears to be sentient as it emits magic energy. Anyone with the strength to handle such power can control and manipulate its energy to do whatever it wants. Avalon's magic also controls how one leaves the island; as the Guardian told Goliath and his friends : "Avalon does not take you where you want to go, it sends you where you need to be." I think this would be a great fantasy and / or final level for the game if done right! "A misty celtic castle of magic and supernatural creatures in the middle of the timeless sea..." What other level ideas do you guys and gals have? ^-^ |

how about one where sonic gets a pair of water skiis and has to jump over a shark.
i'm surprised how many times sega has made sonic jump the shark without literally having him jump over a shark.

You know what? I apologize for my last post. I hadn't even given this game a chance. I read the Nintendo Power article on it and, you know what? It actually looks pretty good. Of course, no one will really know until they play it.
I was mad about the whole weapon thing at first... But there's quite a difference between a sword and a gun. And regardless, change can be good. If Sonic's shown anything recently, it's that the franchise needs a change somewhere if it's ever going to get back on its feet. S'long as Sonic never carries a gun.

Should I even mention that every 3D Sonic so far has been, oh-whats-the-word, sucky? At least Unleashed is TRYING to get back to the things the series was made for. Now Sega tries to give Sonic a sword. Sounds like the whole thing is Sega being desperate for ideas and turned to the Heroes-Shadow team for ideas....Not the best idea...
