Yeah, Nintendo doesn't have to shut their fans up because their games are nine out of ten times, a hit! Sonic fanboys are only bitching and moaning because SEGA's doing all this unnecissary shit with Sonic.

Super Mario Galaxy got a sequel because it sold well and would be an easy cow for Nintendo to milk.

And I personally don't see how Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is fan service at all.

Everybody wanted Mario and Sonic in the same game at one point. Also i'm pretty sure fans wanted a SMG2.

but anyway, yeah nintendo listens ALOT more!

If sega wanted to please me with a 3D Sonic game, they would go back to sonic adventure 2, remove the hunting and shooting levels, get rid of the story, bug test the crap out of it, and make amy stfu, and make the controls fluent, and that would be awesome.

but of course thats not gonna happen.

Shadow was an attempt at finding a "dark sided" theme for a Sonic game. The premise and opening cinematics were EPIC AS HELL but the gameplay was rehashed from Sonic Heroes, and ingame graphics were too shiny and ugly...

It was Sega desperate. They wanted to make Sonic games COOL and HARDCORE to appeal to kids and teens who only want to play games with that stuff, I guess. Something along those lines.

Just Sega being senselessly gimmicky again.
