If you don't hate Conker, try it. I always thought Conker was a stupid M-rated war game, because on internet I've always seen only war shots, when I started to see that it's much more than simply war (OMG! Count Batula, a giant singing poo, a naked caveman and a lot of other weird things) I understood I had to buy that game. It was in 2010, which was the year or Rare's fall (no, for me it wasn't in 2002, because I liked some games they made with Microsoft) and the year that I started being a Rare fan. As kid I used to play Goldeneye 007 (so hard to me), Diddy Kong Racing and obviously the two Banjo-Kazooie titles; later Viva Pinata and Nuts & Bolts. In 2010 I bought Perfect Dark, then Dark Zero and Jetpac Refuelled, in december I bought Live & Reloaded on eBay and Kameo on Gamestop. On January 2011 I bought Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Jet Force Gemini.

First of all, welcome to the forums Golden Jiggies. Second, even if you want another Banjo title, the chances of that happening are slim to none, as some other members have already mentioned.

What Walecs said is absolutely right. Conker isn't "just another shooter." Sure, there are some 3rd person shooter segments in the game and in the multiplayer, but Conker's Bad Fur Day is much, much more than that. Just play the game yourself and see. I know some people irl who have played Conker but only praise the war elements of the game. I feel like punching them and telling them that it's mostly a bloody platformer. Edit: No pun intended. It isn't that bloody.

Go play Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Well, a platform with both Banjo and Conker, if well done, could be good. It could work with multiplayer campaing, or the "choose character" thing like in the racing game, or like in Jet Force Gemini, you have to use both in different times and -in case- different places or even like Lego games, you play as one and the other follows you, and you can change the character everytime depending on the action.

Considering Diddy Kong Racing, I think it's safe to assume Banjo, Donkey Kong and Conker are part of one big continuity, also looking at the in-game references to the other series.

Due Diddy Kong, Banjo and Conker are in the same universe, and Diddy Kong is in the same universe of Mario; Mario, Banjo, Diddy, Sonic (Sonic and Mario olimpic games/Sonic & Sega all stars racing) and Conker are all in the same universe.

That raises a lot of questions, though. The Banjo games (especially Nuts & Bolts, from what I've heard) seems to "assume" that all video game characters are equally "real", not to mention that Kazooie actually namedrops Mario in Banjo Tooie. But I kind of get the feeling that Rare's DKC Donkey Kong and Nintendo's regular Donkey Kong aren't the same Donkey Kong, though DKCR has seriously blurred the line.

It's been confirmed countless times already that DKC Donkey Kong =/= Arcade Donkey Kong. Cranky Kong is supposed to be the Arcade Donkey Kong.

DKCR uses the Rare Donkey Kong because they also have Cranky.

Am I the only one that thinks the first DKC is the best in the series? I probably shouldn't talk seeing as how I haven't played DKC2 in a year, where as I've played through DKC in the past couple of months, but still.

My list.

1. DKC
2. DKCR + DKC2 tie
3. DKC3(bias cause I never finished it(didn't own it))
