Bakemonogatari is probably my favorite anime, there is a lot to it, for all the fanservice and neck twisting it shows it's pretty deep sometimes, and it's one of those shows that is very meta about itself, the culture and the genre and I find that very appealing; plus the aesthetics and visual direction are cool.

So i haven't watched Hetalia. But is it basically about..Atleast world series

Axis Powers: Italy, Japan and Germany
And then you have America, England, Russia and etc on the other hand.

So is it some spoof in real life world history, or is it just some random made up spoof series on something they wish was real life history. I have just seen some episodes and i have hard time to understand it. Maybe i should just try episode 1 and see how it goes.
Edit: Watching it again, Axis Powers 2 episodes.... i dont know what to say to be honest. : 3

I've started watching Rokka no Yuusha, which is the newest anime from the director of the anime adaptation of Spice and Wolf. It's pretty good, the first two episodes start it off pretty slow, but around episode 3 it starts speeding up a lot. The art and animation quality is very good, though it is reliant enough on CG for the monsters that they kind of bother me.

Gonna check it out on my watch list. I liked the atmosphere in Spice and Wolf.

Also... the best part about Naruto... Politics. On episode 81. Its interesting
Edit: So watching Episode 1 a little on that series now "Rokka no Yuusha". Thankfully, boob ladies are here. You gotta have them. "whipes tears*

Although i guess its interesting that they chose a mayan indian setting of buildings in the series.

My sister and I have been watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the past few weeks. I shouldn't think I would have to tell you guys how great it is considering a lot of you have probably seen it already. But seriously, wow, it really is just absolutely incredible.

Rolling up onto episode 521 of One Piece (so right at the beginning of the New World stuff) and it feels like forever since I last saw the Straw Hats.

It's been filling up my anime time while I'm waiting for new episodes of other stuff to come out.

So I'm all caught up with Rokka no Yuusha now, and I'd totally recommend it. I think it's biggest problem is the beginning: The first four episodes are all about setting up the main characters and have a lot of demon fighting, which is a problem because the demons are all animated with some pretty jarring CG, and the setting-up they do makes it all seem a bit generic. From episode 5 onwards, it turns into a really tense action mystery story featuring a cast mostly of crazy people.

The main plot thing it all centers around is that there's only supposed to be six legendary heroes. When all six of the current generation meet up with each other however, there turns out to be seven of them, and one of them has activated a magic fog trap that's keeping them all in one place, and the only way to get out is to find the person who activated it, the seventh hero, and kill them. The main character ends up being the one everyone suspects, and has to fight for his life while finding some way to prove his innocence. The main character doesn't have any sort of special powers, unlike some of the others, so he has to do all of this while relying on his own bag of tricks, willpower, and quick-thinking. It's a really fun watch.

People say Raiden is gay. But i say Itachi is gay. And Raiden is awesome btw. He can carry M4 and shoot and do cartwheel without using hands. Although... not as cool as modern Snake though

Started watching the new Lupin III series yesterday. The four episodes that are out now are all fantastic and capture the spirit of Lupin perfectly. I highly recommend it.
