Lets discuss source code shall we...

Edit:

<meta name="description" content="Introducing Banjo Kazooie for Xbox 360" />

<script language="JavaScript" src="/include/s_code.js"></script>
<script language="JavaScript"><!--
/* You may give each page an identifying name, server, and channel on
the next lines. */
s.linkInternalFilters="javascript:,banjo"
s.pageName="Banjo/Teaser"
s.server="banjo-kazooie.com"

Judging by that, seems all it is is the typical pre-release teaser site

But there's more source code than just the main page. I actually think there's a bit more hidden in there; I'm trying to write a javascript controller to access it.

Please don't tell me we're actually going to try to start hacking stuff out of websites now...hacking in the broad, legal sense, not the illegal stuff.

Viewing the source code isn't really hacking, it's a feature built into both Firefox and IE. Just go to view on the toolbar, there should be something like "View source" or "source" or something like that. It's not really hacking at all.

I know, but it's viewing something you aren't supposed to see, anyways

We're not supposed to see it? Dude, the option to do so is built in. We can. It's allowed.

No, not really. But the beautiful thing about Silverlight is everything is kind of XML-based. So far I've been able to extract the URLs of all of the images.

It's not really hacking. It's opening the Activity window in Safari, downloading the appropriate files, and opening it in a text editor.

I just found something:
Code:
<a href="/include/MGSTermsOfUse.htm" id="TOULink" target="_blank">Terms of Use</a>
        &nbsp;|&nbsp;
        <a href="/include/MGSPrivacy.htm" id="PrivacyLink" target="_blank">Privacy Statement</a>-->
But this doesn't appears anywhere at the actual site...

It's commented out, which means it won't appear on the site because of the <!-- --> around it. It's just a privacy policy anyway.

Well, nothing to see beyond the blueprints, gears, and spinning jiggy. I went through the Silverlight source and there was nothing else. Oh well.

Coders call it "commenting the code" they use stuff like that as a reminder to add things in, or when noting stuff, that won't appear visible on the site

Makes you wonder, don't it? On any one of their pages, within the code, there could be the answer to SNS. It would have been there the whole time, right under your noses...
