Civ 5 has been taking up all of my gaming time recently. currently playing through a game as Germany and I'm in the Classic Era right now IIRC.

Did the Spelunky daily challenge today, and now I'm a little sore. So what happened was there were a whole shitload of item crates in the mines and they were all inside walls. They also all had ropes in them, so I was low on bombs right off the bat. Black market was unreachable with the number of bombs I had, so I had to skip the ankh. It was okay though, I ghosted two vaults already and the next level had a shop with over 20 bombs in it so I was still all set to get a high score.
First level of the ice caves. Gems everywhere. Vault. And to top it all off, alien lord right at the entrance so I got a jetpack. "Oh man, I'm going to ghost this level and be so fricking rich" I thought. So my plan was to bring the ghost in from the right to get the alien's gems diamonized, then move her above the vault to lower her down on the gems. After that I would pick the rest of the level clean of gems. Too bad none of that happened and I just jumped right into the ghost's face as soon as she showed up. This one is going to sting for a while.

Almost have 100% Completion on Hero mode for a LBW. Just need to finish the ice ruins and the treacherous tower.

Devil May Cry's gameplay is so shitty. Did people forgive its terrible design because of its style when it came out or did they genuinely think it was well-designed? Constantly having to adjust the analog stick because of the terrible camera, weird as hell inputs like hold the r1 button while pressing and holding the triangle button with the analog stick pushed in the opposite direction of dante's back while balancing on one foot blindfolded with a stack of books on your head, completely boring "take thing here place it there puzzles", bosses that barely give you enough time to learn their poorly telegraphed patterns before demolishing you, arbitrarily booting you back to the beginning of a mission when you run out of "try again" orbs, having mission-based progression at all in a game that has you exploring a giant castle...

My friend bought me a copy of Papers, Please during the Steam sale, and I've finally been able to find time to play it. It's the most stressful feeling of fun I've ever had in awhile, if that makes any sense.
Outside of that, I'm always playing League of Legends at some point during the week. Only other game I've booted up recently was Age of Empires II. Once my finals week is actually over, I'll have time to really play some games again.
