Good luck on your quest Glaber! I am sad too see that picture go. The mysteriousness of Banjo-Kazooie is what made it a fun game to play. Now the picture isn't that mysterious.

It may not be Fungus forest any more, but it is still in the woods. We have Background Tree confirmation in Click Clock Wood Spring. But exactly where in the level I have not yet pinpointed.
Edit: Scratch that, I've pinpointed it! The new location is the Click Clock Wood Lobby facing the Spring entrance. If you can wait a bit I can get a snap shot of the location from Project 64. Re-edit: Picture's up! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...clickclock.png

one reason why they might have changed it might be because they were planing on putting the level in tooie but never did, so why would they keep it there? really they more then likely put the picture of the level that they should have in the first place.
also what is the deal with people being assholes in these topics? so what if the theories are out there, that is why we have a sub-forum for that stuff so that people can use there imagination to come up with stuff. |

Yeah, they probably removed all the "Beta Remain" in the XBLA version. =(

The image that was posted containing both the picture in Banjo's house and Click Clock Woods itself, it's a match. The trees in the background are identical, and the ground is attached to them the exact same way.
I'll be honest, I don't know why Rareware removed the Beta photo from the XBLA version. What I find interesting, is that the new picture is still portrayed as a side-scroller.

I always loved looking at that picture whenever I decided to watch the opening credits of the game, wondering where Banjo was. It's stupid and disapointing that the 360 version replaces it with an extreamly dull picture of CCW. Just another reason why I'm not in a hurry of downloading the XBLA version.

The thought of the photo being a past adventure never crossed my mind. Because even I remember that Kazooie said to Banjo, "I want to go on another adventure!" in the opening cinematic.
You must have a keen eye, if you notice things like that and combine them. ![]()
