I started Dark Souls II: SOTFS yesterday and I beated the second boss today. It feels different from the first one. Anyway it's good, but playing with half life is a pain: every time you die the life bar decreases, until it's halved. You can restore it with Human Effigies, but are pretty rare and I don't want to waste them.

And I started Dark Souls I. I think it's pretty neat so far, though I had to install like a million mods to fix the PC version.

Beat Demon's Souls; now playing Dark Souls 2. Also playing Ratchet & Clank 2016.

Almost every game of Overwatch is lost because of idiots not playing the objective, going all sniper, or straight up not paying attention and grouping up when they need to. I think I lost about 15 games in a row because of shitty ****ing team mates, and even if I played a support, they still did shit all and I end up having all four gold medals. This is worse than free 2 play TF2 Valve pubs right now... I've never been so disappointed in everyone.

Like, I don't care if they are the best, but at least ****ing try to help the team, it's a TEAM GAME, why play online if you're not going to do anything or even learn your classes?...

In cases such as all sniper, it sounds like that might have been one of those silly matches where everyone goes one character or class. If you don't want to do that, I'd just go ahead and leave those games.

As for other instances, you're gonna have some matches where team synergy is bad, or maybe you have a newer player who's still trying to get the hang of things, but blaming the team for every loss is a really easy scapegoat. Many times other players are dealing with something else, or they just can't make it to wherever in time or without getting slaughtered.

The advice I can give you is if they won't stick around you, then just do the opposite and stick by them. It might not seem like the most efficient strategy to you, but it's generally better than going in yourself and getting killed.

It's also generally better to wait and go together as a group when a good chunk or more of your team is dead. I usually just wait. The first player spawned often just runs, but one or two more won't spawn too far after them, so that's a group of three or four you're already close to. And in cases where your team is all but wiped, and you're out by yourself, retreat. It can be really easy to overextend and become surrounded.

The worst ****ing players are the ones who are rank 80+, and only farmed their levels with their friends and can't do shit and try to blame the lower levels who have played since beta. It gets so ****ing annoying because its literally every game.

In Dark Souls 2 SOTFS I am in No Man's Wharf. That zone is very annoying, I'm dying a lot and I think it's the most difficult I have ever played yet in Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. In particular, in this game the undeads are a pain. For now I have left behind the dragon and the Old Dragonslayer, but I found a ring that increases a lot my HPs, so I don't need to use human effigies.

The Dishonered 2 presentation has made me reinstall the first game and play through that. It's pretty good, if a bit easy so far.

play on hard and turn off objective markers, especially the latter because the levels are already designed to point you towards the objective naturally while also giving you lots of room to explore so they don't serve any purpose beyond being an extra ui annoyance, and any objectives the level design doesn't naturally point you toward are usually optional and more satisfying to find on your own

the only part you really need them for is if you decide to knock out the watch captain and hide him somewhere safe to spare his life in one of the missions instead of sparing him while leaving him conscious, since the location is badly telegraphed

Started playing Sticker Star last night. I really hate having to use stickers, especially special ones because I have no room to hold any more. Gonna just try and ignore it, because I never use consumables in games unless I have to, but this forces you to if you make the mistake of fighting enemies at all.

resident evil 4 is the greatest zombie game ever made and it sucks that leon kennedy got so boring in the games following it

I've made it through to the bottom of Blighttown now in Dark Souls. You know some shit is about to go down when there's multiple runes outside a fog door which say "Be wary of amazing chest".
