Yume Nikki is such a neat game, it always gets me in a really creative mood, there's just so much cute and weird stuff. That game and LSD the game are pretty similar in that respect, I suppose.

Have this Genesis collection on steam and have been messing with it. Never had any Sega consoles so this is all pretty new to me. Vectorman is stylish but ugly to look at and listen to, Sonic 1 is exactly what everyone says it is, but Sonic 2 seems neat and is purty.

last night ala's physicality was OK enough for video games, so i joined him in some perfect dark multi for a couple hours.
a couple months ago, i read about nintendo's plans to essentially stalk a 3DS hacker and approach him in person in regards to his hacking, and thought it would be really funny to change my PD character to the fbi agent with Miyamoto's head. months later, i can confirm that it was indeed very funny. ala has a competitive edge on me in virtually every element of combat, but sometimes i can dodge bullets while chucking proximity pinball grenades and praying for my safety! it's very enjoyable. n_n

not really games related but i tried using our xbone to listen to music on youtube but it couldn't even get through ONE TRACK on an album before spitting out 3 ads at me. what a headache.

After getting used to my new apartment, I am ready to continue Higurashi



I am not ready to finish Higurashi though. I might not ever be ready, but I must. I am ready to start Umineko though so I gotta do this.

I'm having a lot of fun with RE Village. A lot more replayable than 7 and I think the elements added from 4 have a lot to do with it. I really love the cast of characters, weapon selection and exploration plus the trademark RE cheesiness they turned up for this one. I beat it once on normal and am now near the end on my second playthrough, this time on Village of Shadows difficulty. The new game+ feature definitely makes it much easier but there are a couple moments that are absolutely ridiculous on VoS.

I'm currently switching between that and My Time at Portia, which I finally got on sale on Steam after putting about 50 hours into it on Game Pass for PC. Pretty janky and the grind can be super monotonous but I think it also makes it a perfect chillout game for me, alongside the likes of Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Subnautica, etc.

I also still need to finish Thief Gold. I started it several months back after it sat in my Steam library for 5+ years, got hooked and just kind of dropped it near the end. It's a great game though despite the controls taking some time to get used to and I'm looking forward to finishing it and playing Thief 2 as well. Those games are on the list of super beloved classic PC games I've told myself I need to play at some point, as well as Deus Ex, Gothic, Planescape Torment and a couple dozen others.

You already know wtf VRChat is. So I was hanging out as a Taco-Bell ferret that can do a bunch of fun dance moves and came across these anime girls who were jamming out to heavy metal, so I just HAD to vibe with them for a while. Took this picture while vibing. I may have to take more pics 'cause issa fun~

played super metroid again. 1:00:09, or 43 minutes in-game time. since getting the snes back, the setup has been a 23-inch random 90's crt tv on a coffee table set 90 degrees from my computer desk.

seeing improvements of over a minute within several days gives me hope i can beat it in under an hour.

After like two months, I have finally worked up the courage to finish Higurashi.
There are a lot of thoughts I would formulate if it weren't 2 am. Since it is 2 am, I will just leave it at, Ryukishi07 seems like a really sweet person.

met some actual true blue nice peeps in VRChat tonight. We watched twerked as cats in front of a mirror for a while, talkin' about urban legends and then watched Moomin. Very nice experience.

I thought Umineko took place in the Victorian era, but it turns out it takes place in 1986 - three years after Higurashi. It's just a bunch of rich ****s larping.
