I want to replay Bully but then I saw that it's horribly unstable on Windows 10 and I really don't feel like playing with motion controls on the Wii.

Played through Saint's Row IV in the past bunch of days and beat it last night! I started Saint's Row: The Third today, and I'm not sure why I ever stopped playing. I'm already 33% done with it though? Weird. I've been doing all the side missions I could find, bought about half of the properties, and just having fun.

I tried to dump my Wii copy of Bully: Scholarship Edition to play in Dolpin, but I hit a major snag: the control layouts are horrible for anything except a wiimote. So I'm just emulating the PS2 original instead. I forgot how much fun this game was.

Also, I guess Nintendo won an award or something? I dunno, my WiiU is taking all my bandwidth now though.

Can someone who has played a reasonable amount of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine tell me how exactly you are supposed to get any further than Stage 6? The pieces fall too quickly after the first minute or so. I am amazed I've gotten as far as I have.

I don't blame you - my brother is a Puyo Puyo savant and he couldn't get past stage 7. I'm determined to do it, just now managed to get the stage 6 guy to "sweat" but I still couldn't deal with the pieces falling at the fastest speed in the terminal stages of the match.

I probably need something else to play

I've been playing Mario Odyssey still- recently acquired every moon in the game. I tried to rely mainly on the Talkatoo for hints, but when I got stuck, it was definitely off to the Hint Toad and uncle amiibo for some help.

Spoiler: (highlight to view)

I waited until the very end to do the final level, Darker Side, and it was neat! It wasn't as hard as Grandmaster Galaxy or Champion's Road, but because of how long it was, one **** up has you start at the very beginning. There was nothing especially difficult- I know most people had trouble with the beep blocks in Champion's Road, but once I figured out the rhythm and jump patterns, I had much more difficulty with the dash panels and laser rings and key coins. I also didn't want to use powerups, so using something like a Tanooki Suit probably would have been helpful... but there was nothing really like that in Darker Side. It felt like an appropriate end, though- segments of the level used different music from different past levels, and the culmination of different ideas, such as Yoshi's wall grab or the freezing water or capturing Glidon or Bowser, was really neat. I'd like to get enough coins to max out the moon count to 999, but I don't know if that's really a priority for me right now, haha.

I received my kickstarter download code for Yooka-Laylee a couple days before it released, so I've been playing a little of that. It's early so I don't really have a strong opinion on it yet, but it's neat so far!

Update... on stage 8... the mean beans basically just spawn at the bottom of the screen. If I beat this game...

EDIT: Stage 9 good lord...

Just wrapped A Hat in Time coming in just under 16 hours for all the Trophies and Time Pieces. I think I might like it on the whole more than Mario Odyssey.

Finished Assassin's Creed Syndicate last night. I enjoyed it a lot. I'm gonna start Dragon Age Inquisition tonight I think.

The less said about Perfect Dark Zero, the better.
