Rare Games Tier List
I've been having a lot of fun with tier lists lately. So let's all post our Rare games tier lists.
This one isn't complete, but it's the most complete I saw: https://tiermaker.com/create/rare-rareware-games-197104 |

Diddy Kong Racing is truly in a tier of its own. It's a shame that Mickey's Speedway USA doesn't live up.

I think mines pretty much the same as what most people's would be, with a few outliers. GBTG is still one of the most charming games and I play through it every once in awhile. Never understood the dislike for it. My first Rare game was Diddy Kong Racing, and then Banjo. I can't say much for their pre-DKC era, since I've only played the few a handful of times on Rare Replay. Never enjoyed DK's heavy, clunky feel or artstyle in DKC either, since I grew up with Mario bros 3 being my favourite 2d game. Big ape always felt like a water barrel as a kid, where furry Mario flew the air with such ease.

Putting Tooie in F was kind of a shitpost but realistically I'd probably also put it in C.

Y'know, I'm not really sure what it is. I think I'd need to do a replay of Tooie before I really write in depth about it.
I think the interconnectedness of Tooie works against it. The fact that you're having to move back and forth between worlds so much just to finish individual missions is tiring to me. I've never been good at memorizing maps, in like shooters or Metroidvanias, so keeping it all straight in Tooie can be a lot for me. |

I've always felt that the levels in tooie were a bit cramped, just slightly too much there.
Handy tip though, the breegul shootout stages are basically the same layout as the multiplayer maps in goldeneye.
