i think my fav bad religion albums will always be against the grain, no control, and the gray race (though the latter is mostly just CRAZY TAXI nostalgia)

have also been feeling some DILLINGER FOUR lately, Vs. God is such a good album, idk why i never got super into them when i was first initiated with the orgcore scene

I spent so much time hating on 2000s era pop punk, et al. at the time because it was the de facto popular genre amongst classmates and naturally that was the default course of action to take as per standard misanthropia, but there are times nowadays when I want to wrap myself up in swaddling myspace blankets, perm my hair extravagantly, and croon power-chord drenched melodic hooks that speak to a generation's resonating collective heartbreak, then run naked with Mark, Tom, and Travis through beaches of red Solo cups and Von Dutch hats in one magical summer that I would never forget.

But now it's 2016 and I'm sitting on a toilet but this is a really lovably wonderful thread.

Anyway,

i love this song because

a) the random feature from grath
b) it lyrically sounds like about 5 of my random thought thread posts strung together into a non sequitur song

Oh damn, bree. Is that what you meant when you said you were on album of the year?

I wish we had a scene of some sort around here but I think the closest thing to it seems to be in central Jerz where they got a lotta br00tal slam metalcore goin' on.

hahaha nah i was just talking about my dumb fl studio bandcamp shit

but yeah everything around here is brutal metalcore shit too, i'm actually pretty sure every relevant metalcore band is from ohio and we get a lot of the local wannabe bands in our area
