I always pick whatever gives me Scan first. That's getting the wand isn't it? Any specific one I need to drop of the other two?

Actually, in final mix, the shield gets you scan first. I didn't get it till level 15. I also didn't get vague till 33.

You saying that just had me look it up. Actually the sword nets you Scan the fastest!

Kingdom Hearts
Sora learns Scan at level 9 with the Dream Rod, 12 with the Dream Shield, and 15 with the Dream Sword.

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
Sora learns Scan at level 9 with the Dream Sword, 15 with the Dream Rod, and 21 with the Dream Shield.

I just opened the emblem door in the entrance hall, I've got 30 hours logged, but I'm pretty sure most of that is idle time, seeing as how the counter keeps going up even when paused.
