Mario Kart 8 Nintendo Direct announces Wii U bundle, free bonus game

Also I don't really care about characters, because heavy weights will still be the most useful overall, so likely Metal Mario. First races will be with Luigi though, because I mean, Luigi.

Edit: Actually, will the European codes work in the U.S? Cause I would trade codes with someone if they wanted, .

The only reason I played Rosalina in Mario Kart Wii was because she had Luma with her, it was such a neat little detail that they didn't have to put in, but did anyways. I understood not having him in Mario Kart 7, but I was disappointed to see he wasn't with her in Mario Kart 8 as well.

While I'm on the subject, since we have about 600 more hours of waiting, why don't we list our favorite characters to play as in the series as a whole:

I'm surprised actually by the roster for Mario Kart 8, assuming the 30 we know of are it, and while I disagree with some inclusions and exclusions I guess I'd rather they do this and alternate racer ideas than have the same 24 or so each time, so I won't complain.
