T-rex in Banjo-Kazooie?

I registered just to post this and get it off my chest,

When i was still in primary school and played BK like it was a second life i discovered somthing odd.

In Click Clock Wood I visited Mumbo (in spring of course) to transform into the bumble bee but instead of the oogadah boogadah BOOM transformation, he talked to me.. its hard to remember but i recall him saying that he could transform me into a T-rex if i had enough Mumbo tokens. His sign popped up demanding 50 Mumbo tokens for the transformation.

I stepped onto the pad and pressed B (even though i didnt have enough tokens, i was stupid) and Mumbo told me that he was joking and the Mumbo token sign disappeared. I immediately called up my friend to tell him about what happened only to be suspected of lying....

I just want to know if anyone else has had that happen before, or if it was found in some script? It would be a great help to keep me sane, thanks

Yeah, I've seen him say that before. It's just a little joke that Rare put in (like the washing machine thing).

You are lying, The sign cannot come back again after its gone since it leaves the activated memory.

Mumbo does talk about t-rex, but no sign and no nothing.
You must have gotten confused with something else. (NO OFFENSE)

We are the worlds largest Rare game hacking group so we know most of the stuff.

BTW enjoy your stay.

The sign never came, he just said: Mumbo turn you T-rex, T-rex to big for this game, move to next game.

Or something like that lol.

^Pretty much, nothing to take too serious.

That is really funny...I had completely forgot about that until I read this post. I remember back when I had first played the game, I saw Mumbo mention the T-Rex and I got all giddy and started yelling "Wooohooo!!!" And then when he said he was only kidding, I was so bummed out...But ya know what is weird? Whenever I went to Terrydactyland I kept on relating it to Click Clock Wood for some reason...but the association kind of makes sense now! After being disappointed so badly over the T-rex transormation in Click Clock Wood, I subconsciously remembered it later on!
Wow! God, I love this forum...brings me back to so many great memories...

Has anyone tried getting the T-Rex transformation outside of his skull (through hacking that is)? I'd be interested to see if they programmed anything for that transformation...

Mumbo doesn't actually transform you into the T-Rex in BK; from what I recall, you start to transform but he stops you and says that the transformation is too good for BK.
