Minus Jiggies?

This isn't really a theory, but more of a question.

In Banjo-Kazooie when you turn on the cheat that gives you infinitive items and put some in a picture, your Jiggy counter becomes "-#", anyone know why this is? I don't recall it being in the game without the cheat, and it's funny that RARE actually added that in for some reason..

Did I miss something?

The number of jiggys is just program based. Without cheat codes when you try to complete a puzzle it checks if you have more than 1 jiggy, if not the puzzle will not get completed. If you do have more than or 1 jiggy the program does "total amount of jiggys = total amount of jiggys - 1". With a cheat code it doesn't check if you have more than or 1 jiggy and automaticly does "Total amount of jiggys = total amount of jiggys -1". The result is that you'll eventualy get a negative amount of jiggys.

Since they programmed the amount of jiggys to have an amount, it automaticly also has a negative amount.

So to cut this short, Rare didn't implendet to have negative amounts, it's something that allways is there thanks to the programming.

the - in -1 is a number, just like the 0 in 10 is

They use a font set. A font set is basically a collection of different images that represent text in the game.

They most likely have a function that takes the value of jiggies(which evidently can be negative) and then inputs it into a function that converts the value to text on the screen using a font set.

because it is capitals in alot of places. Check the RARE website, at the top, it's in caps. But in sentences it is suually justg a capital R then rest lower case I think.
