Using DKviewer From Banjo's Backpack
Okay, so I have both a .n64 and .z64 file extension of Donkey Kong 64 Roms. However, how do I correctly decompress the rom so DK viewer can read models, BSPs, ect.?
I am posting here because I was banned from BB because I was annoying Jombo23. And if I make another account, they'll just ban it again lol. Anyway, if any of you know how to do this, thanks. |

Okay? I don't know what it is with the advanced post you always try to fascinate me with but well, I'll explain more details when I can get on my computer tomorrow. Because no, I don't type like this very often or make paragraphs this cheesy. iPhones kind of suck when it comes to this :/.

Okay, time for a much better elaborative idea of what I have done.So I got DK viewer, and it says I need a uncompressed version of the game. I then got Sub Drags rom decompressor tool and selected the "Donkey Kong 64 (E) [!]" rom. When it extracted about 17,000 files, I had no idea which ones it was for the models or anything. But if any one can help me or tell me which ones it is, thanks. And yes, I tried looking at the offsets that Skill was on to view as an example and couldn't find them. |
