The truth about Stop and Swop

Alright, we all know (or should know) what Stop 'n' Swop was and what it was intended for. But we didn't know why it was removed: UNTIL NOW.

The reason Stop 'n' Swop was removed was not because Nintendo disliked it, or that it glitched the N64. Quite the contrary. The n64 glitched IT. Lemme explain. In 1999, the Nintendo 64 was remade with a new technology that would render Stop 'n' Swop almost impossible to execute. (Bringing the 60 second switch window down to 2.) Rare decided that since some people may have bought new N64s between the launches of Banjo Kazooie (1998) and the planned launch for Tooie (2000), they decided to drop it.

We can still dream about how cool it WOULD HAVE BEEN though, can't we?

Your idea makes more sense than most others ... the activator could have been in B-T originally (but it is not there anymore, of course).

That actually is a good thought, SBx4...nice work. If only they had left it within the games...
