Talking The Wii - SnS's savior?

I just thought of something.Killer instinct has been anounced for the wii's virtual console. This means any rare game can come on.Nintendo has said that it will update their games with tings like Wi-Fi modes and good graphics. But this could mean the will fix deleted game things.See where I'm getting? If they update the game they may include SnS,BR,FF,HHB and MFI.It would be very easy to swap game data inside the Wii,and so SnS would be possibe!

Some Rare games aren't exactly with Rare anymore.
Donkey Kong series is now completely owned by Nintendo, possibly Killer Instincts as well, and Starfox.
Other games will Conker, Pefect Dark, and Banjo Kazooie, have stayed with Rare over this time.
Sorry to burst you bubble, but making Banjo games on the Wii, Microsoft will not allow, if any console it'll be on the DS, or Xbox 360.

I can't imagine how anybody else other than Rareware could own the Killer Instinct series though.

Although they'll do KI, they probably won't do any Banjo games on any Nintendo console, except the DS.
This is because when Rare and Nintendo split up, they took all there games but Donkey Kong, and Starfox.
We really need a new sticky about this.

That can't possibly be true.

Nintendo and Microsoft are in direct compeition (yes, Nintendo, you are..no, I don't want to hear it) and KI is a fairly recognisable series...it makes no sense for Microsoft to bequeath it to Nintendo.

It is the equivalent of saying to your competitor: "We have this brilliant scheme to rake in more money, here, you use it. <3"

Even if the BK games were going to be on the Virtual Console, neither Stop 'N' Swop, nor any of the levels you mentioned would be on there. They wouldn't put in deleted features. Those things were all dropped. Nintendo would not add the levels in for the virtual console.

Actually, it doesn't. Why would a company allow their top competitor to use one of their most popular game franchises when they themselves could (and logically should) keep the profits for themselves?

More importantly, why would they remake Killer Instinct 1 if KI 2 (renamed Killer Instinct Gold on the N64) had a much improved gameplay?

And let's face the truth: No one cares about KI anymore.
I know there are some fans out there, but when compared to the other huge fighting series, it's just the dumbest acquisition Nintendo would ever make.

For two reasons:
1- KI1 is so broken it's stupid. If you know what the term "infinite combo" means you'll understand why.
2- KI2 had pretty good gameplay for its time but everyone had moved on to Tekken (which was a huge innovation in the genre) when it was released, because of this nowadays its fanbase is nonexistant.

If Nintendo actually remakes KI for the Wii, there's absolutely no chance of it being successful.

Unless, of course, you misunderstood it with an emulated version of KI on the Virtual Console.

That might be it.
Probably not, because even if they tried to, they wouldn't be able to.
Besides, Banjo Kazooie, never no matter what, will never appear on the Wii, at all.
