supposedly, mumbo was cursed by grunty, his former student. which is weird, because in grunty's revenge, his mask is there, but he's still in training.
as for his mask changing, i think it's just a retcon. rare has confirmed that mumbo was nto a jinjo, sso i think grublin is our best bet.

Good point. Pretty strange that Banjo Kazooie or Tooty wouldn't think anything of the bust of Grunty..

Hey! It is not Tooty House its Banjo House!, Tooty dosnt have a house! I mean, did you notice Banjo sleeps on the only bed! and Kazooie on the back pack next to the thing on the window, so theres no place for Tooty! she must have a hose in somewere!
Another mistery! Wen in the line time was suppose The FP paint of BK was painted? Why BK are on Grunty House?

Am i the olny one who thinks mumbo without the mask is either a grublin, or.... a hideous hideous demonspawn that can kill by looks...

Maybe there is another mask behind the first one. Yeah, that's it. He did take off his mask in BK.Under it was his BT mask which he wore all his life because when he was born it was stuck to his face.

If Mumbo is a jinjo why doesn't he fly away and yell jinjo! when you touch him? The only jinjo who don't do that is Jingaling...GASP! Could Mumbo be? PRINCE JINGALING? Son of the jinjo king? But who is his mother, Queen Jingaling?
