You'd think him talking about Wind Waker would've made some people click "no."

This guy is an utter fake. I don't see how you could possibly think otherwise. He's just... ridiculous.

No, it did not, and it was never planned to, as far as any evidence was shown. The 64 DD had discs that were more along the lines of floppy discs or a Mac's zip discs. The idea was always that games could be expanded with this system. It was intended to offer cross-game connections, expansions of games, and tons of extra saving room, when compared to a controller pak. As far as speculation goes, considering what the goals of the 64 DD were, it's pretty easy to say that it was never intended to be a CD-rom drive, or use any type of optical media.

You can read on wikipedia about the drive, which, coincidentally compares it to a zip drive, like I did. I also see where the confusion comes from about CDs. This was, in part, the answer to CDs that Nintendo put forward, rather than using optical media, Nintendo decided extra game memory would be more useful this way -- which, IMO, it was, except for the necessary added hardware issue, as we all know, this didn't exactly work very well for any company, let alone Nintendo.

Hey, just because I'm from Canada and made that alt once, doesn't mean I'd do it again!
This is a load a garbage, nothing true about it.
I was at SM all the time, never came here once.
Also, PM me his IP, see if I can figure it out.
I'm not hiding under an IP hider, thanks I've learned my lesson.

Because this thread is rather interesting, and I haven't used this account in a long time.
Trust me, I'm not him.

The typing styles between the two are certainly uncanny.

Ok, you guys can joke if you want.
He types with a lot of spelling errors, which is unlike too many people.
And no, I'm not the only Canadian, besides Gold.

It's not at the fact that he has spelling errors.
It's more like the fact he tends to hit the enter key after most sentences.
Does make it a little bit hard to read, so it's noticeable.
I'm pretty sure that's not too common here?
Not saying you're him, but I just find that a bit odd.

Why don't you guys believe him?

His explanation seems logical, besides, the fact that his name is from a goldeneye character, does not make him a fake many companies name characters after employees

The guys native location may just in fact be Canada, due to canada and England have the same accent.

and Banjo-tooie WAS planned for the N64DD.

Actually, using the enter key after every sentence could be the result of spending too much time programming lines of code, though I doubt it would truly carry over. To me, that absolute lack of actual knowledge of how the 64DD works is way more than necessary proof alone.

Edit: No, Canada and England do not have the same accent. That's irrelevant to the discussion anyways. The implications about Canada are that if he is in Canada, and Rare is in England, then he cannot currently be working for Rare in the position he says he works in. To work at Rare, he would need to live where Rare is.

well he could just be covering up his name and didnt it say he retired from rare or something? musta been my mistake.

but you all know you wanna beleive him, but the story is just too unbeleivable, im voting no, and if this turns out to be true, ill apologize, if it turns out to be fake, why would some loser come here to write like a whole page just to get us to talk about it?
