Great potential for progression.
Well, I think this is pretty basic. It was the most awesome stroke of realization I ever had though so it better not of already been brought up.
Rare says "You were never supposed to find out about it." NOW, that COULD be disprovable. See if anyone can find clues that would lead people to know the secret sandcastle codes that unlocked the stop 'n swop, that would disprove Rare's claims. Now OBVIOUSLY no attention has been paid to finding clues to the codes because only hackers found them. But WHAT IF somewhere behind a texture on a wall, in the empty space that a camera can view, there's the messages? Then Rare has been defeated, as this story is the only one they've been even partially consistent with. |

Okay, number 1. SNS might be part of a game, but the process and effort that went into developing it, that wasn't. This isn't about proving anything. You know why it hasn't been brought up, because it's shameful, that's why. Several developers put a lot effort into developing SNS, only to have it be shut down. Rare's work behind their games, that isn't a game to their developers, that's their job, that's what they wanted to do with their life. They're not in it to "trick" people, their in it to do something they love and enjoy.
Whether we were supposed to know doesn't matter, and it's sad to think that's all some people think about is proving Rare wrong. No wonder they don't like sharing things with people, with the kind of thanks and appreciation they get, I wouldn't want to either. |

Now you've brought up a point of suspicion. In their hard work, why would they not want the operation shown to it's full extent? even if it was partially unsuccessful?

We know EVERYTHING about SNS, bar the actual swopping. We know the method, we know the prizes, we know the testing methods... everything. The only things left over in BK or BT are the debug codes. Analyzing textures is absolutely useless. They made this game to let us play it, not to make us look behind walls throught hacking and find secret messages. |

Because of the fact that everything in BT has been gone over (literally, everything), we can now say what each hidden element in the game would have been unlocked by. There are three hidden silos, Bottles Revenge, Ridiculously Secret area ect. We know what three eggs did already, so we can automatically pin these rewards on seperate eggs. One egg would open up a secret silo, another would open up another silo to RSA, and one would activate BR. Because there is nothing left, we can say for sure that these would be the rewards gained in-game by SNS. Therefore, we know everything about SNS. |

Nope.
This is just speculation that SNS eggs would activate Silos,RSA and BR. We don't know this! We still don't know what prizes would be activated by Cyan Egg,Green Egg and Red Egg. Last edited by BanjoPL; 11th July 2008 at 04:50 PM. |

So wait that'd mean.... well you've guaranteed that that's everything? I mean the first part of code could be an object that appears in another room due to a far off prefix.

The Debug coeds are incredibly hard to hack. But, once we have them, they will be the only thing that could possibly still activate SNS, or unveil anything left in the game. |

There's still debug menus to hack!? I thought debug menus could be accessed easily with just button combinations O.O Like in lego starwars or something.

The developers WANTED you to access that. Rare, however, did not. Look at BFD: you need to actually make the cart glitch to activate the debug! Debug codes were always hard to hack, and I bet that if there was no button combination, LSW would be the same.

And does anybody know how far the hacking of the debug mode is?
