I know, it's amazing.

I love the music, the graphics and the game play. It does really well trying to follow-up on the prequels. It's also pretty challenging so far. I've only gotten to through the first level as of yet, so I can't wait to see the rest.

I still don't like the slippery controls :\... Was playing it earlier, and died a LOT from either sliding off an edge just barely, or not making a jump because no Diddy. I'm probably just pampered from playing SMB3 all the time .

Just beat the final boss (didn't do a completionist run since I probably would've went insane).

It was a fun game, but I seriously cannot stand the shake = dash mechanic. I don't understand the lack of classic/GC controller support that would make doing dashes so much easier with a button press. I could never really grasp it, and died plenty of times because of it.

It was a nice game, no doubt, but it felt as though they were making the difficulty hard simply because they could, instead of putting in a curve.

And, co-op = game over mania.

Yeah, this is what personally irks me about every good new Wii game that's released. The controls being forced upon you, instead of letting you chose. Brawl let's me play with the Gamecube controller, so I play really well at it. I hate the slippery controls of the wiimote, and sometimes won't even finish, or buy a game because it's forcing me to use it for no reason.

Metroid Other M makes you hold the thing sideways, and use that small little control pad to move around, and it KILLS my hand to play that way. And I've died more in DKCR due to the controller than anything else, especially when he rolls when I tried to ground pound .

I had to take a break from that stupid tidal wave level. Needless to say, I already think the game is amazing.

It's the best 2D platformer I've ever played. And I should say I'm one of the rare people who didn't really like the SNES Donkey Kong Country games.

I didn't have a bit of trouble with the motion controls after a few minutes of playing, although I don't care for the "blow" mechanic simply because it breaks the flow/pace of the game.

It's really great. I'm only on the third world and I already think it's fantastic. The level design is really impressive in the way that every obstacle is perfectly placed and it constantly throws new surprises at you in every level. The game never gets boring, and it gets better and better as it goes along.

The waggle is fine. I have had almost no problems with it, save for one time when I died because I wanted to pound and accidentally rolled instead and died. Besides that, the controls and gameplay mechanics are quite basic and don't get in the way of the fun.

In short, get the game. If you love fun, well-made platformers and/or anything Donkey Kong-related, you have no reason not to.

Indeed. Controls sucks tbh, imposed shaking just because it's the wii is lame, and breaks the pace of the game for me.
Indeed at the bat too.

Also, music aside from remixes is meh...anything from the gbc port of the original dkc is more memorable than any of this. Man that port had awesome music. Gonna go listen to it now. (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT8Zp...eature=related )
