Are you running an old OS? Try the FAQ at goldeneyevault.com but I never heard of these errors before.

Well, not an ancient OS but I suppose you might consider 98SE old. I have a few mods to it including Kex3.0.6a (a kernal patch that allows some XP/Vista programs to run. more info found at MSFN - Windows 9x member projects)
The error only occurs when I initialise the visual editor. The music plays but then *Ding!* the illegal operation happens. All the rest works, although I realy need a proper rom (I lost my "origonal"  and its no longer recognised as proper in any editor/os)trev P.S. what about the textures?
