Bowser Forest

Well, pstriple just reminded me that I never posted my SMW hack here when I released it about two years ago. So here it is.

Link

It's a five-level hack that focuses on taking simple concepts and using them in creative ways. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. So far I've received only positive reviews for it. There are details and screenshots in the link I provided.

Also, before you play, make sure you read the readme file that comes with it- It provides VERY important information about the game.

Was there anything in particular you really liked or disliked?

Also I'm working on a sequel that I was planning on releasing a long time ago but have encountered lots of bugs that I'm still working on getting around. It'll come eventually.

I loved it to the very end.

It was challenging at every turn and made me use more puzzle solving skills in some levels. I liked transforming that one boss into a coin to grab him and finish the course.

The level and boss design was genious. Puff Norris? WIN.

It was a little frustrating at parts though. The race was tough, but addictive, so I kept trying to the end.

My only real complaint was the length of the entire game. I got a solid hour out of it, but that's about it.

Your sprite designs for modded characters were pretty cool.

The remixed or "de-mixed" music was a great addition and really added to the atmosphere. I was rockin' out to the Wily 2 theme.

The free roaming overworld was fun, and creative, but a little tight. Expanding it would be a nice touch.

Your texted story was fun to read too.

The credits were just like any fun Nintendo game: interactive, almost a minigame.

Umm...

Make another one plox.
