Grunty's lair in BKNB

K so something i noticed, is that Rare said Isle O Hags, would not return. Although they said nothing about Grunty's Lair.

Does this mean we can still visit?
Explore the inside of our classic over-world?
Why is the wrong eye missing on the outside of the lair?
Whats with the weird ramp behind the lair?
WILL I BE ABLE TO VISIT THE OLD PLACES FROM BK?
Am I way too nostalgic?

Give me you thoughts

I doubt that the Lair will be revistable, though it's POSSIBLE that you MIGHT be able to explore the first room, but I'm not counting on it. I don't even know if Spiral Mountain itself will be revisted besides the first cutscene.

You can revisit spiral mountain again as soon as you get the spiked wheels. As for grunty's lair, i think we might be able to blast away the rocks in front of it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up on that, but it's possible I guess.

Once you've been dropped into Showdown Town, I can guarantee that exploring old levels will be the last thing on your mind.

It doesn't even really look like boulders covering her mouth...more like the texture on the floor.

Oh come now George, you of all people should know by now that exploring old levels is the only thing on our minds but hey, that's what Banjo Land's for.

Maybe like in Banjo Tooie where we can only go in the first room.

You know we want to get in Grunty's Lair... But hearing this straight from the horse's mouth makes me VERY EXCITED!

I never really cared much about visiting old worlds, but I have always thought that Grunty's Lair in Banjo-Tooie was a missed opportunity.

I can hope and pray that you guys have made the (clearly wrecked and abandoned) lair at least a little more special and interesting in Nuts & Bolts, but I don't know if that's something I should hold my breath on

If we were to go into the old lair, I'm betting Mumbo's Mountain would be the only level we could gain access to.
The little path up towards the Treasure Trove Cove and Clanker's Cavern pictures would probably be too small for a vehicle to squeeze through (unless they made it bigger), and Kazooie won't be able to Talon Trot (I don't think anyway...).
I'd be happy with just Mumbo's Mountain though.
Maybe some bonus could be hidden there, an upgraded wand/wrench in Mumbo's Hut maybe?
