We'll all be getting enough old levels in Banjoland, so I probably won't miss the lair too much. As long as they have the music somewhere in the game I'd be fine.

It would be so cool to go in there again! Some of my childhood memories are in there.

if they have a decent portion of each map in banjoland, ill be satisfied. but i found it strange that some levels have a lot of stuff, like the mountain from freezeezy, while others barely had anything, (glitter gulch mine) but i havent seen the whole level yet, so ull hear no complaints from me until i have played it

I don't see why people are so obsessed about visiting old levels that much (I mean, Banjo Land is just more than enough), maybe Grunty's Lair is okay, but it's not like there would be much to do/see in there.

Probably not. You can probably explore the same way you explored Grunty's lair in Tooie so there's nothing too get excited about.

We already have Banjoland, I doubt we can go back to the old levels xD But I'd LOVE to explore Grunty's Lair. And if it's all ruined, there could be new passages and stuff like that.

that'd be cool
but does anyone think those aren't rocks, and that it's just the floor texture, cuz they don't really look like rocks. If they were, rocks, they would pop out more.

Does this mean we can still visit?
Explore the inside of our classic over-world?
Why is the wrong eye missing on the outside of the lair?
Whats with the weird ramp behind the lair?
WILL I BE ABLE TO VISIT THE OLD PLACES FROM BK?
Am I way too nostalgic?

Give me you thoughts

George didn't say no

Haha, but I seriously doubt that we'd get to go back into Grunty's Lair, let alone any of the old worlds, since we're sorta visiting them in BanjoLand. And speaking of Showdown Town, is anyone getting a Disney World vibe from the ST videos?

The lair has to be opened up! Even as a secret end-of-the-game bonus. Perhaps by acquiring a vehicle weapon add-on that might bust open that big green eye and allow you entrance inside.

Seriously, exploring a fleshed out (but aged, dusty, decaying and antiquated) Grunty's Lair would be a walk in nostalgic heaven for us B-K fans. I know that it'd have to contain some sort of motivation and purpose beyond the mere addition of the lair for kicks, but Rare's got a creative bunch with them...

I'm certain they could toss in all sorts of goodies and interesting bonuses for players who want to explore Grunt's Lair as a cryptic, scary, dilapidated mess.

it doesnt even look like rocks are covering the entrance. It looks more like floor textures.

Yea i noticed that george didnt say no, but also he didnt say yes..
so said "if theres you wont wanna go back to it or if it isnt you wont miss it"
which is really sad cause i wanna go back.
there wont be old levels im 100% sure of that.
but i hope we can crawl about the lair at least.
It really is, Nostalgia heaven.

Don't get your hopes up, you're making it out like it's 100% that we'll be able to get into the Lair again. "Oh there will be an item to blow open the entrance", "No rocks, its the floor", etc. I highly doubt we'll be able to return to Grunty's Lair, if we do it'll be a nice treat, but it's very doubtful.

I'm pretty sure that by saying it's floor textures he means that we won't get in.
