I agree3 Bluey. If a DKC game come onto the Wii, it wouldn't be made by Rare. And in my opinion, Nintendo's DK games aren't as fun as Rare's!

Why not give them a chance? Nobody has ever made a Donkey Kong Country game aside from Rare.

And I have no idea why, but for some reason I keep thinking the game will begin with a UFO crashing in front of DK's treehiuse. |

If Paon makes it, I'm all for it. If Nintendo makes it, failure.

If it went to the wii it would have to be created by nintendo but if it went to the ds rare could develop it. Rare can't release game on consoles besides the 360 due to microsoft ownership but handhelds don't count. A new rare developed Donkey Kong Country would be great. There is no way the game would be on the 360. Remember Nintendo is the one who created the original Donkey kong so it's possible for Nintendo to create a good Donkey Kong.

A new DK game is fine. But if they literally call it DKC4, it will fail. Even if it is good it will never live up to Rares, no matter how good it is. Its like the switch to Artoon for Yoshi. It was good, but not as good as the original.

Rare has stated numerous times that they'll only be able to make a new DK game on the DS if Nintendo requests them to. Which is near-impossible.

The problem is.... Nintendo has never made a good Donkey Kong game since the original Donkey Kong. DK as we know it, DK as we know him, is entirely the product of Rare.
DK died when Nintendo dropped Rare like a cheap date. It's really unfortunate that the last great DK game will actually be DK64 despite its overwhelming flaws. Now he's just Nintendo's most retarded character... and a character that's used only out of pity, neglecting any real substance, or quality that he may still have left. And if anybody's heard him in Mario Kart Wii, he sounds less like a primate and more like someone who downed way too many pain killers and anti-depressants with a bottle of scotch. Oh, and also, quite obviously high on LSD. |

Nintendo should just dust off an extra copy of DK 64 (If they indeed still have any working copys left), play it through again, and take note. If anything maybe Nintendo can make something half as good as one of the old Donkey Kong games.
