If this is true then this will be another FP-FF connection.
FP is 5th level in BK-FF is 5th level in DK64.
FP entrance is Advent Calendar-music in FF is similiar to Advent tune.
But Rare's Patent said that "At the side of the huge Blocked Icy Cave is a lever."

yes maybe there is a connection there. I'll have to hack both the caverns and the forest to find it.

The trigger for the ice key is [0004] which should process (you've already activated and collected the key) while the trigger [0200] opens the ice key area.

so basicly DK64 has to trigger [0200] which should show the cutcam just fine, and then you go get it.

when you have no SNS items its [0000] and when you have all the SNS items at the same time its [FFFF] and that should stop SNS from working.

the triggers for the SNS eggs are as followed:
[0400] First Trigger - Opens Wine Barrel {cyan}
[0800] Second Trigger - Raises Sharkfood Island {pink}
[1000] Third Trigger - Opens Gobi Valley Door {blue}
the other triggers function a bit different:
[2000] Puts Green Egg on Loggo
[4000] puts red egg on the bed
[8000] puts yellow egg on the table

so then, maybe you unlock the first 3 from DK64 and the other 3 from BT and they all are ment for BT not DK64.

We must do some freeze digits in DK to see if there really is a cutcam.

yes it should.

But im curious to know if [0200] is really in DK64.

First you pull the lever, [????] then you see the cutcam [????], then swaping to BK activates [0200] which opens the ice key area. when you get the ice key it changes from [0200] to [0004] then you swap [????] and the ice key trigger in DK64 is activated.

But what im wondering is, Theres got to be a value that means to can SWAP.

since [0200] is the trigger and [0400] starts the egg area. Maybe [0300] is the ability to swop.

theres enough hex values apart with the cyan, blue, and pink eggs to have a swop.

the triggers for the SNS eggs are as followed:
[0400] First Trigger - Opens Wine Barrel {cyan}
[0800] Second Trigger - Raises Sharkfood Island {pink}
[1000] Third Trigger - Opens Gobi Valley Door {blue}
the other triggers function a bit different:
[2000] Puts Green Egg on Loggo
[4000] puts red egg on the bed
[8000] puts yellow egg on the table

Quote: Steve

so then [0500] could swap the cyan egg [0900] could swap the pink egg, and [1050] could be the blue egg.

The blue egg dosent have enough values apart to hide something, but there could still be [1050] or something.

The other eggs however have no values apart, so maybe they are triggered by swaping something from DK64 after whacking something in the ice key room.

Quick note: there are two bits in the SNS mod address (80283400) that don't appear to do anything. GM2k mapped out all the possible values a while back, but no matter what combination of bits 1 and 2 he tried, nothing happened.

I applaud this you guys for researching and hacking, instead of making baseless theories that should never have seen the light of day.

Thanks Icy guy, I might know what these values are used for.

Thats what we do best.

Steve, the eggs I dont believe are as important as focusing on the Ice key, however we have no reliable info source on them so...we dont really know what they were used for.

If it is hot-swappable, then yes there would be a value in ~memory~ indicating that the games could be swapped. If it was cold-swappable however, you could take the game out at any time after you collected the ice-key and swap it with DK64. But we cant tell if it which one was to be used yet.

Your on the right track, remember that the flag is placed in ~memory~ as soon as you pull the lever. However flags and triggers are different things. But flags can affect triggers.

3.Hot/cold swapping to Banjo-Tooie.
What cheats can you repeatedly type in? Are all Cheato cheats repeatable, or can you only type some in only once per game-play?

Well runehero123...in 2003 i collected all eggs and key in BK via sandcastle codes so now i can't remove SNS screen.
Few days ago i tested my idea and it failed.When i took out BK and inserted BT console freeze.I used only sandcastle code for red egg.
