Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo,

Although we don't normally answer game play questions via email, I am making a
one time exception for you.

The Stop N Swap feature, meant to be a link between the two Banjo games, was
never implemented. Although we are aware of the code that opens the menu and
reveals the items, they have no purpose in the game.

As for the Ice Key and the Mystery Eggs, you need a code to get to them.
Nintendo is dedicated to assisting our fans with game play help. As such, the
company has devoted an abundance of non-e-mail resources to game play
information.

One of the best resources for help is the Power Line. This line features
walkthroughs of the latest major releases in easy-to-use menus. The number for
the Power Line is 425-885-7529 (a touch-tone phone is required) and is available
24 hours a day, seven days a week. This will most likely be a long distance
call, so please get permission from whomever pays the phone bill before calling.

If you have very obscure questions or can't otherwise find the help you need,
assistance is available through our "Game Play Help For Newcomers" Forums
(http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/...gameplay_help). Use the
search field in the bottom-left corner to pull up any questions and answers
posted about a particular title. To post your own questions you'll need a My
Nintendo membership, but it's free and easy to get by going to the following
address:

http://my.nintendo.com/cpp/mynintendo/myNintendo.do

If you have questions, please visit our FAQ page:

http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/help_faq

For additional information on where you can obtain game play assistance, such as
Player's Guide information and availability, please visit the Game Play Help
section of our website:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/gameplay/index.jsp

I hope this is helpful.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.
Sharon Matheny

I agree and disagree. The codes were found "illegally", in that they weren't meant to be found. But I think the codes were only there as a backup way to activate the eggs. After all, there were a few other useless codes built in. Opening Treasure Trove Cove, for instance. How can you put the code in without entering the level in the first place? And things like breaking the walls near the Gobi's Valley entrance are completely useless. "They cause trouble but now they're rubble?" Yeah, lots of trouble. A freaking roll can break them.

Still, that won't exactly explain the ice blockage.
Rare never put the moonjump code in at all. the code screws around with variables in the game to make the gravity muck up. Rare didn't ever code that in.
