Well, they've figured out how to inject roms into the emulators now.

It is becoming quite tempting to just plug Banjo-Tooie in there or sometihng and hope for the best. Goldeneye is the most requested for testing =P .

You can do that now? That's cool. Would Nintendo be able to trace that at all?

I'd love to put Banjo-Kazooie or Earthworm Jim 3D onto my Wii...

^ This.

So don't moan when none of your Wii's work.

I know this probably isn't very on topic, but since we're talking about Wii homebrew, is it possible to suffer bricking etc using the Twilight Hack?

The only way that would happen is if you put more wads on your SD Card than your Wii system memory can hold. Just be careful and do your research and you'll be fine.

Microsoft has made their stance on this sort of stuff clear, but it will be very interesting to see Nintendo's reaction. They clearly responded pretty quickly to Datel's Freeloader with IOS37, but not activating it is still very curious.

I don't see any harm in messing around with any WAD, but only WADs, because of Waninkoko's awesome uninstaller. You can do what you want then leave no trace.

I'm not using WADs. I'm putting Genplus and SNES9x emus and games on the SD card and not saving any of that stuff to the Wii's memory.

So I'm safe, right?

Anyway possible that would work with PJ64? And what about controls? Would it work with a GCN controller?

I was browsing Wiibrew.org today and it seems work on a port of Mupen64 has begun. It might be finished, but I didn't really check.

And yes, the emulators are primarily using GCN controllers due to it being more suitable.
