hey skill_sphere how do you get the screen recorders to record sound, ive got an awsome new movie planed, but I need the sound to work.

Also how do you change the in game text?

To record sound i use cam studio, its a great program that records what ever sound is coming out of the speakers as well as whats on the screen.

As for text editing the easiest way is hexworkshop, the hard way is nemu's memory editor which is what i did in "the answer to Stop n Swop"

Save a save state in PJ64 when someone is about to talk. Save it and byte swap it in Hex workshop (I think it's 16 bit) After it's flopped look through the text.

^ Nah its a 32bit byte swap.

Heres what i sent Byro

What you have to do is make it so that PJ 64 does not compress you save states, you also want to save just before the character says something, then load up hex workshop 4.2 (which reminds me i need a crack for that ) Then load your save state up inside Hexworkshop and do a byte flip to 32 bit then change what you want and convert it back.

Done much more easier than using address which tend to vary all the time.

Btw what did you think of my videos?

DK64's really messed up as a ROM though since there's no expansion pack ... and I only know how to properly hack B-K ... maybe I'll do a texture hack for it or something. Though I can't guarantee I'll do a follow-up to that particular video ... I will do more videos, though.
