Is it just me?

As we all know Stop n Swop is a large mystery which could possibly be revealed with NAB. But there's been something that I've always found slightly wierd, Swop. Shouldn't it be spelt Swap? Technically Swop is something completly different. If this is correct (and not just me bieng perdantic) then then technically it changes the 'theory' of SnS.

Proberly a waste of time but i'd like to think it has some merit.

You see they both have an o as a 3rd letter. It just seems more interesting when it says swop and not swap. Stop and swap doesn't look as good or as interesting. Sometimes it's good to mis spell words

"Stop 'N' Swop" is just a funnny little rhyme that Rare created, and the Os are there just to keep the parallel. Even if you were to ask a Rare employee about it, it will usually be referred to simply as "stop and swap."

Shouldn't "spelt" be spelled "spelled"? Since the letters are blue, and there are 2 O's, it obviously means that there are 2 blue eggs.

Okay, yes, you're just being a tad perdantic. If it were swop... well that'd mean the same thing I think. *Checks dictionary.com* British equivalent of "swap." Rare's in the UK, the menu title guy was british?

Since 2005 Rare named SNS as STOP N SWAP like on Scribes and in Banjo-Pilot.

It doesn't matter either way... it's still pronounced /stɒp/ /n̩/ /swɒp/.

"Swop" is an obsolete nonstandard British variant of "swap," and do it really doesn't make a difference.
