After Nuts & Bolts and Banjo-Kazooie XBLA we:

-still don't know how SNS areas would be opened in BK via BT,
-still don't know what would be unlocked in BT with SNS items,
-still don't know how Bottles' Revenge would be unlocked,
-still don't know what would be and how would be activated Ridiculously Secret Area,
-still don't know if Ice Key would be transfered from BK to DK64 and what would be unlocked in Dk64 via Ice Key,

Now we must wait untill Banjo-Tooie XBLA and all will start AGAIN...

sns nuts and bolts was pretty much just a throw back to the old feature, they never said they'd be revealing its original intention, just actually implimenting it.

To be honest, it sounds like you're just in denial about SNS, and I'm going to guess that you didn't like the prizes you got in Nuts and Bolts.

The reason we don't know any of those things is because they were scrapped ideas. They were taken out. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Banjo Tooie was made after they scrapped the whole SNS thing, so why would they keeping the prizes in the original. If there's not even a way to start SNS in the first, why would there be a way to finish it in the game that came out two years after the idea was scrapped? Everyone just assumes that all these things have some relaions to SNS, but I really doubt they do. What makes you think Bottles' Revenge and RSA have anything to do with SNS? Maybe Rare decided Bottkles' Revenge was a bad idea, but they didn't have time to take the whole thing out so they just removed all means of unlocking it? And perhaps RSA was originally supposed to be in the game, but Rare didn't ever get to completely putting it in there for some reason?

As for Blackeye, I honestly don't see how anyone just jumps to the assumption that he has anything to do with SNS. Just because he's useless automatically means he has to be involved with SNS or something?
