Hang on, does rare even own the rights to BK1 and BK2? or is it Nintendo? Can they put it on a collectors edition without Nintendo's permission?

Rare owns the rights to every game they made that featured their own characters (i.e. Banjo, Perfect Dark, JFG, etc.), while Nintendo retained the rights to DK, so it is possible that remade versions of the N64 Banjo games could be released on Xbox 360. Now make it happen Rare!

Yes. They own all the rights to their games, except for say, Fox, and DK. And that's only because they weren't their original franchises.

that whould be so awsome! ever seen those mini atari things that come with a few games on them? they should include a little toy like that the seemenly looks like a nintendo 64 that comes with mini cartrages of BK,BT,DK,CBFD,GE,and PD lol and have the completed stop and swap on BK and BT
