i was having the same problem but i think it is because the servers are too busy
i always have good connection and there is no reason for me to wait 10 minutes to find some players (well actually more like 5 minutes)
but anyways bots are fun i guess
its fun to have a 1 on 1 game with a bot on casual and just rape it every round

Yeah in reply to the matchmaking, there is a serious problem there. I usually spend around 5-10mins waiting for a match which people are still quitting from... however last night I was able to find matches quickly for around 4 in a row with a party of 3. I would suggest to have a party of 5 so all you need to do is find opposition.

Just finished the campaign on Hardcore with the missus last night. That, was freaking, amazing. To say that it lives up the the hype is a massive understatement - it blows the hype out of the water![spoiler]My only gripe was the disappointing battle with Skorge, and the absolutely woeful final boss fight. Although visually it was amazing. gameplay-wise it was pathetic.[/spoiler]Apart from that, I was taken away with every little aspect of the game. Every battle had my adrenaline pumping, every smartarse quip by one of delta squad had me grinning ear to ear, and every cut scene had me on the edge of my seat![spoiler]The scene where Skorge first showed up was dramatic as hell, and the scene where Dom finds Maria literally saw a tear escape from my eye (the first time a game has EVER done that to me)... my gf on the other hand, was an emotional wreck.[/spoiler]I'm almost worried to try Insane... I mean we can cruise through Gears 1 rather effortlessly on Insane, whereas in Gears 2 on Hardcore, there were numerous parts where we only just managed to scrape through (after repeated attempts). Regardless, I can't wait.

Considering there's millions playing, it's definately broken. Try canceling and restarting the search, I know it'll take effort to cancel all your patience, but sometimes it works.

Online is fixed now guys, just a server overload I'd say. Oh and a patch is on it's way soon apparently, not sure what it will contain but I can't wait...
