there hasn't really been any massive shift in the lore since odyssey. Things are getting stagnant, and we need to shake things up in a big way. They should kill off Luigi.

I've never played MK8 so I'm only just now seeing what the redesigned Yoshi's Valley looks like. And I want everyone to know I strongly disapprove. They have changed the aura, the raw essence of the level far too much. They have added far too many insipid little changes to it, like a young artist who arrogantly believes they can do a better job by being obnoxiously over-the-top with their work. They did not respect the style and feel of the original level, and it brings me great amounts of anti-joy.
