Roll back exactly 0x54 bytes from the name of the DiddySelect object and you will find its size value. By default it should be 3E851EB8.
Taj's actual size (from the Parkwarden object) is 3F19999A, but it makes him seem too large and cramped in the character select screen. If I remember correctly, the top part of his head is covered up by the Player Select text. 3EE00000 puts him at about the height of Krunch(or Krash), which seems about right considering the size of the playable Taj in the DS version. So are you guys making it look like the beta, or are you finding beta elements within the game itself and restoring them, kudos if you suceed ill definately play it, dkr is my favourite racing game having played it often now

@123mac123: This is really a combination of both. Some things, like the change from Bananas to coins, are indeed a restoration of a beta element. However, Spyke4995 made some text changes as well, which I feel are unnecessary.
Another issue is that we don't know when in development these beta findings were used. The only beta video we know of already has the game titled as Diddy Kong Racing, with Diddy as a playable character. |

I dont remember which, but wanna of the actual levels used to be part of the hub world, are you restoring that?

I could easily reverse the text changes if you'd prefer.
I'm going by that video, and the fact that Diddy was not a character in the game during most of it's beta days. And I don't know what level you mean, and it may be extremely hard to succeed in doing that. |

No i think that beta hub world was simply a MUCH bigger hub world, cause it has the final parts too, plus the beta stuff, its also interesting to note that the door that leads into the worlds was also the size of the exits doors in the final, which makes sense!

Just to let people know, I've been really carried away Rez hacking, and that kind of took priority over Diddy Kong Racing. I finished my exams, and when I've finished coursework, I should go back to this.
