I want another game like DK64 as well. Dunno how it'd work out though...

Also, why haven't they released DK64 on the VC yet? I want it.

Probably due to copyright and licensing issues with Rare. Let's face it, Nintendo is lazy as hell when it comes to the VC. It's been four years and they still have tons of great games they can release. Where is Yoshi's Island? They have hardly any N64 games... it really is disappointing.

Yeah, the DK64 thing has been gone over several times. It can't be on XBLA because Nintendo owns Donkey Kong, and it can't be on VC because Microsoft/Rare owns Jetpac. I bet Nintendo could work something out with Rare about Jetpac if they really cared, but they don't.

The only possibility for a DK64 remake would be a Donkey Kong 64 DS or 3DS along the lines of Super Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing, and Ocarina of Time.

Managed to play on a demo version at the london expo last weekend, though me and me mate failed miserably on the boss level. Its still a lot of fun though, and cant wait to play on the full version over christmas

The "sad" part makes it seem more jungle-y. Good on Retro for keeping it! It's one of my favorite BGMs to date.

So! The Tiki Tak guys were... either petrified or in suspended animation until that volcanic eruption freed them, were they? Or did they deliberately set off the volcano as a means of attack? I'm not sure, it may be either, but it looks great all the same. The article is right about the music, though; compared to the masterpieces of David Wise and Evelyn Fischer, that tune was a real piece of crap. Music in the DKC series is supposed to be emotional and atmospheric, not carnival-like. Oh, well.

Glad to see we'll stomp through Kremcroc Industries' un-hallowed halls again, though! That foggy stage looks tight.
