Warning Nintendo will not repair a consle that has Homebrew installed. It's gay.

Why would you want them to repair a Wii?

Well, for one, maybe if the lens are contaminated, like mine, and won't play great Wii games, like SSBB, like mine.

Or if it gets bricked. There was one instance that I know of that was reported on hackmii.com where Nintendo of Europe charged extra, as homebrew was installed.

They won't refuse to repair it, but they'll treat as though you've thrown it out the window.

I think I'd rather try to get a second Wii before attempting to install Homebrew Channel... I'm too afraid I'd brick my current one.

Bricking is very rare and happens very seldom. I've installed Homebrew on mine multiple times with no problems. Just follow the instructions on WiiBrew, and install the Homebrew Browser so you don't have to install them on your SD card each time, you can just download them with the Homebrew Browser.

It's fast, easy and affordable! I was amazed at how convenient it was to install Homebrew!
