To some extent Ive made the Ice key 100% permanant in the game
download this savetate then save and quit the game. If you go back to the game, even without any gameshark codes you still have the key as an extra slot in the totals http://www.mediafire.com/?9u7dhbumb2x still no image as of yet though, and it does reset if you actualy reset the game I was basically messing around with runes slot codes on artmoney savestate is a pj save even after starting a new game, the ice key is still there after getting the 1st gold banana Last edited by ssj; 30th July 2008 at 12:55 PM. |

I'm a complete noob at this, so could anyone tell me how to test the codes (step by step if possible)? My emulator is Project64.

I think its at the end of dk's memory. Just like the bk flags are at the end of bk's memory.Ive checked the memory offset where the key flag is registered in bk but nothing happens, when you have the Ice key menu activated in dk
which means its probaly at the end of dks memory somewhere. I know what to look out for. A 6001 thats there when the menu is activated but doesnt show when it isnt |

He means that he's looking for a code in the back of the memory that is present and ready for use when the menu is open but disapears when it's closed. |

We still have to figure what it does. I doubt Rare would just throw stuff at you, and leave you stranded with a melting key unable to anything, no (sarcasm)? Maybe it will take another 8 years to figure that out
