Load Banjo-Kazooie into Project64. Make a save state of the area you would like to change (make sure Project64 saves the state as uncompressed). Then load this into BK Texture Tool, and the display will be populated with the textures from that save state.
Replace the textures as explained in the help files, and then save. Load this new savestate into Project64, and that's it.

In Settings->Options, untick Automatically compress instant saves.

Ok I don't know what's going on but even after I unticked the box when I open the save state no textures show up even though it says "Ready" on the bottom left corner.

So now its loading the textures but I don't know where to find textures compatible with the 64x64 textures. I found a bitmap picture that was 64x64 but it didn't accept it.

What was the error? They need to be the same type. I believe the help document explains this better.

Ok sorry for all the trouble but whenever I make the pictures 16 color they turn very garbled and have terrible quality. Also project 64 won't open the new save sates. I tried to find something that could help in the user manual but it didn't help.
