A new theory.

Hey I'm new here, and I just thought of a theory. What if on the Wii's virtual console that Banjo Kazooie, DK 64, and Banjo Tooie were added. Do you think that Nintendo would implicate SnS back into the game, or would they (the games) ever be on the virtual console since Microsoft ownes Rare?? Thanks for listening!

BK and BT CAN NOT be added because Rare owns the rights.

DK64 on the other hand might be added, as Nintendo owns Donkey Kong. But I doubt there will be anything relating to BK in it.

IF, they were on the Wii, I think it would be possible that they could imitate how it would work on the 64DD. So maybe, it would be possible. I'm not saying it's actually going to happen(at all).

Well Rare said it's possible Banjo will be on there, but even if it's on there, I don't think they'll recreate SNS. VC games are exact copies of the originals (maybe a few modifications, but not restoring entire scrapped features).

I am 99.9999999999........% sure they will not put any sns in BK or BT if they make it for wii.

I doubt that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Wii Virtual Console games are emulations of the exact games that were on the original N64. Nintendo (to my knowledge) has nothing to do with the programming of BK or BT or DK64 or anything.

I was just mentioning the fact that SNS would be possible on the VC because the hardware is there and the games were meant to link to each other while both games were inserted into the system. I'm not saying that they are actually going to do it. Dont get me wrong on that.

Personally, even if they could, I'd rather they didn't, I think it would kind of disappointing to have the answer just tossed out there, after all the work that everyone has done.
