After seeing the character roster, and starting to get the feel of the game, through the pics, I can honestly say I don't think this game will be as good as Melee. I'll still most likely buy it, but it just doesn't look as good.

The single player aspect of the game is better than Melee. The multiplayer is worse. Since people don't play singleplayer 7 years consistently, I think they worked on the wrong part of the game.
Also, online is the worst that online can be while still existing. I do give them props - having online at all is a great move and is probably the most important thing that they have done, but they really could NOT have made it any worse if they tried unless they... limited the playable online roster or something.

They could have better online, but what they have is good enough for me. I could care less about rankings. I don't need a rank to know I can kick someone's *** online.

I can't believe anyone can possibly think that this won't be as good as Melee. Look at ALL the new modes and characters and techniques, and look at what they've taken out: one technique. If people are as good as they say they are "OMG I CN BEET 4 LvL 110s inn 3 secnds" then they'll have no trouble anyway.
