Captain Blackeye and Wall Textures
Im hoping this hasn't been said before, but on BK on the wall textures there are pictures of characters/enemies for the area your in.
When you go past GFF the wall is covered in a texture with pictures that look strangely like Captain Blackeye....

OH!! This is so weird! I was thinking it was Blackeye like yesterday!
But i went further up to the bit with the cauldron and it shows an enlarged version of the picture. What you think is the hat is actually a scary mouth Last edited by JohnyT94; 22nd March 2009 at 06:57 PM. |

Isn't it obvious?
He found what he thought were Blackeye images in the lair indicating that's where he would have been. Sadly i noticed this just the other day and it's a just a monster. |

Theorizing that Blackeye used to be there...
Which is why he said whatever monsters are in the area their pictures are on the walls. |

Well it is obvious. Could you not work it out..?
It is a dead theory anyway... It is actually a monster with a funky mouth. |

That may be a bit of early BK, I've found a strange thing at the tower top that makes no logical sense unless it goes with the only screenshot of Dream. I'll edit for more info.
In the 1-up window. Look outside. It's a moon. It's still daytime until you beat Grunty. The other window is correct, complete with green haze. So why can you see the moon? It was night in Dream, so maybe they forgot to take the moon out?

Those 'Captain Blackeye' textures mean absolutely nothing whatsoever.
Key word - Textures Since the lair is meant to have a cavernous, and a creepy atmosphere to it. Wall textures that appear to be like that are inevitable. However, I don't think they're meant as a representation to a person or an object, they're just there to add to the atmosphere of the overworld. Nothing to get excited about I'm afraid. You claim there is an enlarged version of the 'scary hat and mouth' texture that is seen throughout the lair. I've never seen this before. Is it possible that you can shed some light on this?

Textures do have something to do with something...
Textures change depending where you are, E.g: Near TTC the textures are of enemies from TTC such as the crabs So Captain Blackeye is near the Beauty machines....coincidence? I think not!
